PG&E Hydroelectric Facility Divestiture Project

On behalf of the California Public Utilities Commission, Aspen managed comprehensive environmental and economic analyses for a Draft EIR on PG&E's proposed divestiture of 68 hydroelectric facilities in northern and central California. The project covered an extremely large geographic area, approximately 140,000 acres, and required gathering of baseline data in 21 counties. In addition, in order to develop a scenario for evaluation of impacts, complex water and power flow models were used.
