Aspen prepard a detailed Project Report for restoring and enhancing portions of Wood Canyon watershed. Wood Canyon is part of a regional park and is in a relatively undisturbed state, but stream degradation has occurred, partly as a result of urbanization of approximately 40% of the original watershed. Restoration alternatives that arrest stream degradation and enhance habitat functions are being evaluated using an incremental analysis of HGM output and costs. Aspen developed the restoration concept and preliminary design plan.
